Hey there,
Have you ever wondered how you can remove stress from your life?
Stress is the No. 1 culprit, when it comes to shortening the lifespan and decreasing the quality of your life.
You can’t and should’t avoid all the stress in your life - being neurotic and fearing stress is making things just worse. Knowing what to eat, do & avoid is more powerful.
Stress can also be beneficial as it can help you overcome obstacles and get things done, but being chronically stressed will lead to faster aging and can also lead to chronic illness.
If you are chronically stressed, your body will be in a survival state. Your body doesn’t know how comfortable we have it nowadays. Being in a survival state puts your body under lots of stress, which has a negative impact on your overall health & hormones.
Do not fear doing stressful activities, but avoid being in a constant survival state.
To avoid this, you should avoid the following:
Cardio
Ice Baths
Working 24/7
Taking everything serious
Excessive media use
Excessive use of stimulants (Coffee & Nicotine)
Working out everyday
An unhealthy diet (pure stress for the body)
Neglecting sleep
Stressing about everything
What to do instead:
Daily walks
Hot Baths
Workout 2-3x a week
Don’t be so serious
Spend more time outside, with friends & family
Work on stuff you enjoy
Eat a healthy diet (don’t be neurotic about it)
Prioritize sleep
Never stress
Sunlight, Nature & Grounding
Most of this is obvious. The most important thing is to avoid being in a chronically stressed state.
These foods help you reduce stress & calm the nervous system:
Raw dairy fats (cream, cheese, butter)
Starches with raw fats (i.e. potatoes + raw butter)
Raw fish + raw cream/raw butter
OJ + raw eggs
Raw milk + honey
I have found raw fish with raw fats super beneficial for the nervous system. it is also very helpful to rebuild the nervous system, if there has been damage.
Do not listen to the so called “longevity experts” who are saying you should work out as much as possible and eat vegetables.
Instead, listen to your body. Work out as much as you want and eat what your body actually craves.
Most importantly: Do more of what you want and enjoy your life - never stress.
I hope you have found this insightful - in case you need personal guidance, shoot me a DM on X.
Until next time
Lennart
